Grand Riches is a 4 panel scratch card with a set stake value of £0.50.
The stake value is £0.50 for this card and cannot be adjusted. The stake value is shown top right of the scratch card interface.
Start the Game
To start the game, tap the ‘BUY NOW’ button located top right of the ‘default’ scratch card interface.
Once the ‘BUY NOW’ button has been selected the game panels become active and a glow appears around each of the 4 scratchable areas. The scratch card interface changes to the ‘in play’ layout where the ‘BUY NOW’ button is deactivated and the ‘REVEAL ALL’ button becomes active for selection.
The stake is deducted from the current balance located bottom left of the scratch card interface.
When the ‘default’ scratch card interface is displayed (before the game has been started) there is a flashing ‘BUY NOW’ button and a deactivated ‘REVEAL ALL’ button.
Once the game has been bought the ‘REVEAL ALL’ button becomes active for selection. Pressing ‘REVEAL ALL’ button will uncover each of the 4 game panels rapidly in sequence left to right.
How Do You Win?
Once a game has started, the user must ‘scratch’ the foil away from each of the 4 areas on the card by holding and dragging a finger or mouse over the relevant area. As the user ‘scratches’ the values of the area are revealed along with the effect of the foil falling away.
Over 80% of each game panel must be ‘scratched’ (95% on a winning panel) for the panel to be considered complete. Each panel must be uncovered before the card itself can be considered complete, whereupon any wins will be awarded or the game will end. Alternatively the player can choose to use the ‘REVEAL ALL’ button.
GAME 1, located left of the scratch card interface, is won by revealing 2 matching symbols. If two matching symbols are found then the associated value to those matches is paid to the player.
GAME 2, located bottom centre of the scratch card interface, is won by revealing and matching 3 of a kind cash values. If 3 cash values match then that value is paid to the player.
GAME 3, located bottom right of the scratch card interface, is won by the player if their weight is heavier than the banker’s. The player’s weights are marked as ‘YOURS’ and the banker's as ‘THEIRS’. If the player’s weight is greater than the banker’s then the prize associated to that row is paid to the player.
BONUS GAME, located centre top of the scratch card interface, is a simple Jackpot (£1,000) won or not panel. If the player finds a ‘star’ instead of a ‘lose’ symbol then they win the £1,000 Jackpot.
In the event of a win (once the card is complete), the total win value from all 4 game panels is displayed briefly in a pop-up centrally on the scratch card interface. The total win value is also displayed in the ‘Total Win’ field, located bottom right of the scratch card interface. Any win on each panel is also highlighted.
In the event of a loss (no win on any panel), an ‘UNLUCKY Better Luck Next Time’ pop-up is briefly displayed, centrally on the scratch card interface.
Once the appropriate message has been displayed, the ‘default’ buttons return to allow the user to play again. Pressing the ‘BUY NOW’ button will reset the panels for a new game.
