Choosing your stake
Battle of the Atlantic has 20 win lines. You can bet from 2p to £25 on each win line.
Click the stake/line '+' and '-' buttons to increase or decrease the sixe of your stake per line.
Click the Lines '+' and '-' buttons to select the number of lines you wish to play. Alternatively you can customise your chosen win lines by clicking on the individual number/colour and deselecting or selecting as you choose.
Click 'spin' to start your game.
The aim of the feature is to reveal the enemy fleet and destroy as many ships as possible before they destroy you. Get 3 or more feature symbols on a consecutive position on an active payline to qualify. You will win your line stake back + feature award.
In the feature there are up to 5 enemy ships to find, these range in size to cover an area each from a span of 1 square to 5.
To locate the ships click on a square within the grided screen. Should you miss your target this will appear as an 'X' icon, alternatively should you hit your target it will appear as a bomb icon.
Once the whole ship has been found a plane will fly over and destroy the vessel.
Continue clicking into the available squares within the grid to locate further ships.
At the end of the feature (when the enemy ship fires ammunition to destroy your plane), the result of each ship will be added together (minimum X80). This amount will be multiplied by the stake-per-line amount that triggered the feature; giving the total win amount for the feature.
Free Spin Bonus
If 3 or more scatter icons appear anywhere in the result of a game, the free play feature is triggered. The number of lines selected for play does not affect the way the scatters are triggered; the scatter icons can appear in any of the 15 visible reel positions.
The Wild Icon does not count as a scatter Icon
If 3 or more scatter icons appear anywhere on the screen you are awarded a multiple of your total stake as well whatever freespins are won.
These scatter wins are:
3 scatter icons pay - x2 Total stake
4 scatter icons pay - x5 Total stake
Playing the free spin bonus round
You will now see that the 15 reel position boxes will have question marks upon them.
Click on boxes one at a time until you reveal the "Launch" box (which automatically stops the scatter bonus round). Inside the boxes are:
When the "launch" box is revealed - the choosing period ends automatically; the details of your free-spins will be displayed on screen in an animation which plays over the boxes. The free spins will then begin automatically.
The free-spin reel set is different to the reel set used in normal play. The reel set contains enhancements that are unique to the free-spins.
Super Wild Cards:
Appear only in the free-spin reel set. The Super Wild Icons will replace the wild cards in normal reel set. Super wild icons behave like normal wild cards in that they will substitute for any icon to make the best win possible (except the Jackpot, scatter or feature icons).
In addition to this; the icon will bear a number designation upon it which ranges from 1 - 11. The number designates how many spins the wild card will remain in play (including the spin that the icon appeared).
After the spin in which the icon appeared; the icon will stay in position and the reels will move underneath the icon during the following spin (if the number on the icon is more than 1). The number on the icon will decrease by one with each consecutive spin until the functionality is exhausted. The icon will disappear after the last "super" spin; normal free-spins resume until exhausted.

The Gamble feature
With any win, you will be offered the opportunity to gamble it. With the gamble feature you can either double or quadruple a win if you correctly guess the colour or suit of the next card to be revealed respectively. The gamble feature will be offered on the total amount of winnings achieved in a single cash spin/play. This means that if you get Line wins, free-spins and a Special Feature game in a single spin; each will be played out in turn; then gamble will be offered on the total amount won in the cash spin/play.
If you select gamble then your total winnings from the last spin are deducted from your balance and taken into the gamble game.
You now have 3 options:
Select/click one of the 4 suit buttons (which pay X4). A single card will be drawn. If you are correct, the current win will be multiplied by X4. If you are incorrect, you lose the win.
Select/click one of the 2 suit colour buttons, Red (Diamonds/Hearts) or Black (Spades/Clubs), which pay X2. If you are correct, the current win will be multiplied by X2. If you are incorrect, you lose the win.
Any winnings will only be displayed in the gamble game (and not in the topbar) until the user presses collect.
You may click the collect button at any time during the gamble feature to collect the win.
If the user selects collect then the gamble game is closed and any winnings are displayed in the paid field of the topbar and added to the users balance.
Note that if you lose a gamble, you will win nothing.
The progressive Jackpot is available in real play only and consists of a fixed minimum amount which gradually increases by a percentage of funds inputted into the game until it is won. When the jackpot is won, it is reset to the "seed" amount and begins to rise again. The progressive Jackpot icon is connected to 3 progressive jackpots. Which progressive jackpot is won depends upon, depends on the number of consecutive icons (paying left to right only - no wild card substitution). Progressive Jackpots are available in real play only; each individual current Jackpot total is displayed above the talk-back panel.
The Wild card Icon will not substitute for a Progressive icon.
Malfunction voids all pays and plays.
All line pay symbols must appear on a played line and on consecutive reels, beginning with the far left reel.
All payline wins occur on bet lines only.
Only highest winner paid on each payline.
Only one award paid per payline.
Coinciding wins on different paylines are added.
