Welcome to Top Trumps - Football Legends, an exciting game based on the traditional fun card game.  Each card has 6 categories that show a statistical value, simply choose the one you think will beat your opponent and receive a payout if you win.  You can collect at any stage or keep going to try to clear the deck!

How to play

How to play Top Trumps:

1. Set the stake

To set the stake, click the up and down buttons on the stake button. Each click increases and decreases the stake respectively. This transfers funds from your account (demo or real money) into the game. The default stake is set at £1.

2. Start the game

Now click the Play button to start your game.

The Pack.

Each Top Trumps pack is made up of 30 individual themed cards with each card containing six attributes with a statistical number and payout odds associated with each.

How to Play:

he game plays like a standard Hi Lo game in that it accumulates the player's winnings per bet until either the player collects or loses. A loss will end the current game and the player will lose all moneys accumulated at that time.
The player is presented with a face up card showing the attribute, stat and odds. Player chooses which attribute and stat they think will beat the 'hidden' card next to it.
The 1st play pitches their card against one of the randomly selected cards from the remaining cards in the deck i.e. game start 1 card face up and 29 potential cards it could be against. If the player wins then both the players original card and the 'now revealed' card are removed from the deck leaving 28 cards in the deck. A new card is revealed to the player therefore players attribute selection on this card is pitched against a random card from the remaining 27 cards in the deck. Provided the player continues to make the correct predictions, the game flow continues on the basis as follows:
Bet 1:               1 v 29
Bet 2:               1 v 27
Bet 3:               1 v 25
Bet 4:               1 v 23
Bet 5:               1 v 21
Bet 6:               1 v 19
Bet 7:               1 v 17
Bet 8:               1 v 15
Bet 9:               1 v 13
Bet 10:              1 v 11
Bet 11:              1 v 9
Bet 12:              1 v 7
Bet 13:              1 v 5
Bet 14:              1 v 3
Bet 15:                  It is not possible to bet on the last hand i.e. 1 v 1 as the player will be able to know the stats on both the open and hidden card therefore at this stage the game 'concedes' the last two cards, plays win animation and then reshuffles the deck to start again at 1 v 29. It should be noted that the players funds at the end of Bet 14 are then carried over to the beginning of the new game should they wish to continue betting OR the player can collect.

Bet Details:

  • A drawn stat number is a loss. Same as any hi lo game
  • When presented with an attribute stat which is the HIGHEST in the remaining pack this is offered as a bet but pays PUSH i.e. x1 payout 
  • When presented with an attribute stat which is the LOWEST in the remaining pack the option to bet on this stat is removed

By playing this game you assume that the stats offered may be inaccurate and out of date.  Sky will endeavour to update the data on a periodical basis.  Should you wish to view the deck before you play please click the SHOW DECK icon at the bottom of the game screen.

Card deck View:

By selecting the PACK icon in the base menu bar the player can bring up the entire deck of cards face up so that they can see not only every stat for every player but also the cards which are out of play are greyed out. The current card in play is also highlighted.
