Virtual Dogs is one of the brilliant instant win games on offer in the online casino at Skyvegas.com. The game lets you bet on virtual dog races 24/7, so even when there’s no racing on at the tracks, you can enjoy the thrill of the race in the Sky Vegas online casino.
Virtual Dogs is unlike most other casino games. The aim is to pick the winning dog in a computerised greyhound race. Although to some people the concept of the game doesn’t appeal, Virtual Dogs really captures the tension of greyhound racing and the excitement when you bet on a winner is thrilling.
The minimum stake in the game is just 10p, and you can even bet for free in demo play (although you can’t win money in this mode). If you’re feeling lucky, you can bet up to £1000 on a race.
Virtual Dogs is very easy to play. You choose how much to bet, which dog to bet on, and then sit back and watch the race! You can bet on 6 dog, or 8 dog races, and have the option to place win, place or forecast bets.
The graphics in the game are impressive. As the dogs run around the track you can make out the grandstand behind the skyvegas.com sponsor boards.
The odds will change in the Odds column depending if you choose the Win or Place bet - Your dog must come 1st if you choose a win bet or finish in the top 3 if you choose a place bet (8 dog race) or in the top 2 (6 dog race).
The Forecast bets are displayed on a secondary screen once you press the forecast bets button; these bets are a prediction of how the dogs will finish in first and second place. For example 3x4 predicts that dog 3 will come first and dog 4 will come second. The odds for these selections are displayed next to each selection.
How to bet:
Choose your preferred stake denomination from the available chips at the bottom left of the main screen. Once you have your chosen stake simply click on the bet/s of your choice and press Start Race to begin.
6 or 8 Dog Race
